Fujifilm X-T5 - Photography First

Get your Fujifilm X-T5 here: bhpho.to/421LAUq The Fujifilm X-T5 is not a perfect camera. Far from it. But in some ways, that's what makes this so unique and likable. Learn more about it in this video.
Thanks so much for this video! It was actually informative and got straight to the point.
Most of my pics are taken on horseback so I purchased a relatively small Canon SX740HS that I can carry on my belt. I already have listened to a couple other vids explaining aperture, shutter speed and ISO but yours by far - with the side diagram showing the "interaction" between them - was the most easily understood. And I'm all about K.I.S.S. so your generalized comment about leaving the ISO as the last thing you want to change sure worked for me. I do see now why the larger cameras with all the dials easily accessible is a bit of a step up from my more cumbersome screen accessible options......except I needed something smaller so.......I am looking forward to experimenting with this new knowledge.
I bet this 10 minute video took 5 + hours to make....I'd almost say 10 hours. 1 minute of finished film is like an hour of behind the scenes editing, or can be. With movies, the ratio can be even deeper.
nice video, which adaptor did you used for the EF lens and which R camera are you using?
Killer video mate. So well explained
Thank you for this! Nikon D810
THANK YOU
The skin tones on the 5d are way better to my eye
Because of environmental reasons it seems wisest to use the reloadable Lomography cameras. They have a choice of five films, including the beautiful saturated colors of Color Negative 400, which is thought by many people to be Kodak Ultra Max. They also offer money saving deals by buying bulk bundles, and a bundle of 5 that contains 1 each of their various film choices.
Super helpful thank you! I loved your volume on a radio analogy!! Im a fan of analogies One thing that helps me remember that the bigger the aperture number, the smaller the aperture... is that the numbers are a fraction! I imagine the f as a 1, so when the bottom number on a fraction gets bigger, the actual numerical value of the fraction is smaller. e.g. f/2.8 (1/2.8) is bigger than f/22 (1/22) :)
“Your hands move as well cause you’re…alive”
Thank you
The best camera is the one you buy
Omg I love you for this. This is PERFECT and helped me SOOOO much.

I’ve had the same issue of the screen going black on the rear view screen with polarized sunglasses. Other than that I’ve just moved up from optical viewfinders and I find it a lot better to use the one on the RP especially the fact that I’m able to use my thumb on the view screen to move the focus point around while looking through the viewfinder.
what kind of camera shoots manual like aperture, shutter speed, and iso?
I though Panasonic S1 was the perfect camera for me. I went to DP review and looked at the sample photos of the R8 and they were gorgeous. The I looked at the S1 pictures and they were terrible. Is R8 better than X-T4? I have used the X-T100 a lot for landscapes and I hate the jpeg engine cos it is oversharp so I set sharpness in camera to minus 1 and sometimes 2 and yet that camera feels off a bit. I like the eosM100 a lot and also Sony a5100 because pictures are great also when I pixel peep. And I always do that because I have to know how the image quality is all the way to the pixels level cos I have cameras that I just cant stand like the lumix LX100 because its too mushy and noisy for me to enjoy it. The canon 20D on the other hand is soooo clean. So where do I go to find a camera that is producing the best jpegs? The R8. Not?
Wow! Sorry I am so late to the party with this video. But I hope you will still see my huge thanks and accept my praise and admiration for this video. As a novice photographer, I have watched endless videos on the 'holy trinity of ISO/shutter speed/aperture, and come away afterwards still puzzled. Anything I did pick up I quickly lost as it wasn't really explaining why and how these three things work in conjunction. If I could give you a gold medal, there would be one in the mail right now! Thank you. Thank you so much! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bonjour, pouvez-vous m'aider à choisir un objectif adapté à cet appareil photo, notamment pour filmer des vidéos de nourriture et préparer des friandises. Merci ?
but we're need to know how many glass spec on the lens before buy any lens for compare distortion , don't trust any brand.
That was the greatest explanation I've ever seen.
great video!
10 minutes ? It takes 5 seconds to set my camera in manual. And I have some cameras which are "manual" only, it's even faster.
hello... what lens do you recommend for the canon eos D2000... I mean only for film
Your dedication to your craft is inspiring.
Does the Fuji xs-20 overheat when simply taking photos on a hot day? Or is the overheating issue only for when you shoot video?
I've watched dozens of videos explaining exposure, but none have been this effective at explaining what each setting means, what each settings does, and how all the settings work together to affect exposure. I feel like because you didn't just explain, but showed the effects in real time with examples, it will finally stick with me. So well done, thank you!
Love the Mustang ❤
Hello..can you make a video on Kelvin / Temperature settings
what camera did you use
First time watching your reviews. I appreciate your honesty . Most reviews flip flop to the point you’re more confused than when you started. Will be following.
thank you, sir! 🙏🏽 great video.
You can put magic lantern on 5dmk2 and shoot continuous raw video on 1880x 1080. Soooo... Go and beat that :D Literaly yesterday bought a 5dmk2 yesterday for 250 euros... Works well... And the main point is that its still a good camera. And when it was made, it was the profesional camera. Wich means you still can make actualy good and profesional photos and videos with it... You do need to fiddle with the pictures and videos more than with the newer models that already have figured out the colors and codecs. Even a 60d thats a little newer works softwarewise so much better than 5dmk2. But... FF is FF. All the EF lens will work on it... All the vintage lens... AND FREKIN CONTINUOUS RAW VIDEO!!!! :D
All good. I prefer my D750. But it is a cool little camera.
New photographer here shooting on a Nikon D7500. Been watching tons of videos to understand the big 3 of photography and I can't tell you how helpful your comparative shots are at the end of the video! Thank you thank you!
Thanks ! clair, precis !
Your comment of people’s complaints about this camera “That camera already exists and it’s called the R6” was so on point! Your perspective of this camera is in depth and well thought out, no fanboyism or elitism. Well done 👍
Excellent tutorial, Hyun. Concepts are crystal clear now. Keep it up, bro.
Best explanation ever.
When I adjust the apature on my camera it does not get brighter or darker like your camera does? Is there another setting I am missing. Thank you
❤❤❤
Thin and light is just stupid for a dedicated camera, if you want thin and light use a phone, it just sucks that companies waste R&D time on making cameras super thin.
Great examples! I knew about these concepts, but I haven't heard of them explained so well.
This is a really REALLY good video 👏🏾 thanks
I knew all that but it's a very refreshing refresher. 😊
I'm here because I want to perfect taking food photographs of the food I create. This was such a great informative video. What lens would you recommend for food?
I enjoy a high shutter speed and ISO on auto-high My hands are very shaky and this way I can get a decent pic.
